Current Issues in Constitutional Litigation: A Context and Practice Casebook ReviewThough not a lawyer, I'm deeply interested in Constitutional Law, especially as its story has traveled through the courts. I've read a lot on the subject. Many text books are well beyond my comprehension or thunderously boring - often both; that's why I keep mostly to general non-fiction work geared for audiences who care about the subject, but aren't going to take a test on it.
"Current Issues in Constitutional Litigation", by Sarah Ricks, is well-written, specific enough to get my juices going and thorough enough to give me an excellent grounding in the subject. I admit it took me a long time to finish - it's not a one or two seating book. But Professor Ricks' insights are keen and her prose compelling. She chooses great examples.
I highly recommend the book to interested citizens and certainly to law students, who will be lucky indeed to come upon this text.Current Issues in Constitutional Litigation: A Context and Practice Casebook Overview
