It seems to me that he has captured the elan vital that exists across the generational divide. And, he shows us a perspective that tears down this divide, like the Fall of the Berlin Wall, to expose a very warm, human story that anyone, of any age, can relate to. It is a refreshing and uplifting read that leaves the reader a better person.

Savannah Law ReviewSavannah Law by William Eleazer was a fast paced well-written fiction novel. I enjoyed this book from the first page to the epilogue. Of course, I was eager for it to end so I could find out what happened but I was sad at the same time that there was nothing left for Mr. Eleazer to divulge. From the very beginning, I was consumed with the energy of this fast past thriller as it twisted and turned while the drama unfolded. The characters were vividly portrayed as were the scenes where most events took place. I was able to see the story as I read along--sitting at the bar-The Library-near the campus, the arrogant lawyer parading around the court room, the judge's flared nostrils reflecting his extreme distaste of this pompous lawyer, and the nights Jennifer's life was at risk--which is a reflection of Mr. Eleazer's superb storytelling ability.
One of the main characters, Jennifer, appeared to be extremely intelligent yet flighty. Many people ignore events that are uncomfortable but her responses or lack thereof, left me in awe and at times angered by her indifference to frightening events that occurred to her. At times, I wanted to "shake" some sense into her!
The author created believable characters allowing the story to flow easily as each character was clearly connected to the other. When the trials occurred in the court room I felt an array of emotions--Scott's anxiety, the judge's anger, Professor Nolan's fear, sadness,and contempt--while also visualizing the media circus playing out in the court room.
I have never attended law school but know people who have and this book was a clear depiction of their experience. I highly recommend this novel. It is an exciting journey in the life of a law student which coupled with Mr. Eleazer's knowledge of this profession creates a great story. I highly anticipate his next piece of work.

Vicious Little Darlings ReviewI recently had the pleasure of reading Vicious Little Darlings. I'm an avid reader of sci-fi / fantasy. This being outside my usual genre, I was expecting to be disappointed but thought I would give the book a chance since my friend recommended it so enthusiastically.
VLD is a superbly written story about the friendship between 3 young women, told from the perspective of our protagonist, Sarah Weaver. Prosaically witty, cleverly woven, a study in contradiction. Sarah, Maddy, and Agnes are the most unlikely of friends. Despite the natural rifts arising from their respective socioeconomic stations in life, as fate would have it, our main characters soon find their lives inextricably woven together. All 3 possess a seemingly innocent demeanor, one that the audience would expect of any young college-going debutant preparing to enter society. But beneath their youthful exteriors lurk deeper currents of darkness: emotional scars, human brokenness, and loneliness - issues that one might be less surprised to discover upon the examination of an embittered soul at the end of life. Despite the sometimes disturbingly erratic and eerie behavior of the characters, the author still manages to make us fall in love with them. While Maddy may seem at first read to be the obvious antagonist, the author challenges us to look outside the proverbial box and to question if the true antagonist might more aptly be life itself - that these characters are really all tragic victims of the isolation inherent in our current social construct. While carrying the reader through the untamed terrain of the characters' internal experiences, the author skillfully balances the rawness with notes of beauty and wry humor. The whole effect is exhilarating, experientially bringing the reader into the eye while the storm rages all around. As the story climaxes, it leaves the reader with a sense of breathlessness and hopeful calm. The simple conclusion is artfully subtle, gently urging readers to continue pondering the lives to which they just bore silent witness.
VLD is an impressive and imaginative debut for Katherine Easer, one that highlights her skill and talent as an author with great promise. The book is a page-turner that will entertain and satisfy you. I look forward to her future works!Vicious Little Darlings Overview
